  • Yes, I offer in person sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Friday mornings.

  • Online therapy is very similar to in-person therapy - just from the comfort of your own space. We meet through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, and you’ll receive a private link before each session.

All you need is a quiet, confidential space, a reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera. Many clients appreciate the flexibility of meeting from home, their office, or even while traveling.

You might be surprised at how connected and engaged online sessions feel. The depth of the work does not change. We still explore patterns, emotions, and relationship dynamics in the same meaningful way, the setting is simply different.

I offer virtual therapy to clients located in Colorado, Texas, Virginia, Utah, and Florida. If you’re unsure whether online therapy is the right fit for you, we can talk it through during your consultation.

  • At this time, I currently only accept Aetna and United Healthcare insurance for Individual Therapy in Colorado only and use a third-party biller for those insurances. I do not accept insurance for Couples Therapy.

For all other insurance and for Couples Therapy, I am an out-of-network (OON) provider. I’ve made this choice intentionally so I can provide therapy that is personalized, private, and focused fully on you, not limited by insurance company requirements.

Insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis in order to cover therapy, and that diagnosis becomes part of your permanent medical record. While diagnoses can absolutely be helpful and appropriate in many situations, not everyone feels comfortable having that information shared with their insurance company.

If you are comfortable submitting a diagnosis and would like to use your out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a detailed “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement this way.

If you have questions about how out-of-network benefits work, I’m happy to talk it through during your consultation.

  • Your first session is not about deciding who is right or wrong. It’s about understanding the relationship dynamic you’ve become stuck in and beginning to make sense of the deeper patterns underneath the conflict, including communication, emotional connection, and finances.

Together, we’ll explore what’s been happening between you, the patterns you keep getting pulled into, and what each of you may be longing for that hasn’t fully been getting through. My role is to help slow the conversation down so both partners feel heard and understood.

In the first session, you can expect:

    • A structured conversation where both partners have space to share

    • Clarification of your relationship and financial goals

    • An initial understanding of the cycle or pattern you’re caught in

After the first session, I meet individually with each partner to gather more personal history, relationship experiences, and money beliefs or values (if applicable). We then come back together to better understand the cycle between you and start building new ways of relating to each other.

  • Your first session is a space to slow down and begin understanding what’s bringing you in. Whether that’s stress, burnout, anxiety, relationship challenges, financial stress, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the pressure of holding it all together.

We’ll talk about what feels most pressing right now, what you’ve already tried, and what you want to feel different in your life. I may also ask about your relationships, work, family history, and experiences with money to better understand the bigger picture of you and the patterns you may be stuck in.

You do not need to prepare anything perfectly. Just come as you are.

By the end of the first session, you can expect:

    • A clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your stress or patterns

    • Initial goals for our work together

    • A feel for my style and whether we’re a good fit

My goal is for you to walk away feeling more grounded, more understood, and with a clearer sense of where we go from here.

  • Yes! I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform that supports Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. The platform is designed to provide the same core EMDR procedures used in-person while maintaining client safety, privacy, and therapeutic effectiveness.

If you have questions about how the platform works, which bilateral stimulation options I use, or need help setting up your device, I’ll walk you through the steps and ensure you feel prepared and safe for online EMDR sessions.

  • Under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers are required to give clients who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected cost of services.

Before we begin working together, you can request a Good Faith Estimate outlining the anticipated cost of your therapy services based on the information we have at the time. This estimate is meant to provide transparency so you can make informed decisions about your care.

Please know that therapy is a collaborative and individualized process, and the total number of sessions can vary depending on your goals and needs. If anything changes along the way, we will discuss it together.

If you have questions about your estimate at any time, I’m always happy to walk through it with you.
